Hello, I’m Simon Oiry, a Ph.D. student at Nantes University. My research revolves around mapping intertidal vegetation using remote sensing techniques. During my Ph.D., I’ve had the chance to explore the applications of drones in this field, providing a unique perspective and enhancing the efficiency of data collection.
This intersection of traditional methods with drone technology has significantly influenced and expanded my research horizons, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of intertidal ecosystems. I’m excited about the possibilities this blend of science and technology offers and look forward to sharing the insights gained from this experience on this website.
